How the Newtown Massacre Became a Mind-Control Television Event
Is anything in our modern culture more evil than television? Many houses have more than one. Houses that once burned bright with warm family merriment in the evening now emit only the cold blue ooze of a large screen television.
Some of us rationalize our television watching by thinking that we use it to inform ourselves. We watch the "news."

Mind control. Mass hypnosis. Operant conditioning. Brain entrainment. That’s what we’re talking about here.
We’re so conditioned to how television covers life that we rarely step back and take notice.
In the case of massive disasters and crimes, network news rules the roost.
First, the premiere anchors, who are managing editors of their own broadcasts, give themselves the go signal. They will leave their comfortable chairs and travel to the scene of crime. “It’s that big.”
The anchors lend gravitas. Their mere presence lets the audience know this story trumps all other news of the moment. That’s the first hypnotic cue and suggestion.
Of course, the anchors were not in Newtown, Connecticut, as reporters. They weren’t there to dig up facts. Their physical presence at the Sandy Hook School and in the town was utterly irrelevant.
They could have been doing their newscasts from their studios in New York. Or from a broom closet.
But much better to be standing somewhere in Newtown. It imparts the sense of crisis to the viewing millions.
At the same time, the anchors are also there to give assurance. The subliminal message they transmit is: whatever has happened here is controllable.
The audience knows the anchors will provide the meaning and the official voice of the tragedy. The anchors are, in a way, priests, intoning their benediction to the suffering and their elegies to the dead.
Something Needs to Change Alright!
After receiving my healing from republicanism I started reading Pastor Chuck Baldwin. His columns are always sensible.
Chuck is a Baptist pastor. He recently moved his family from Florida, where he pastored a church for many years, to Montana. He is pioneering a church there.
Pastor Baldwin is the nation's most well known liberty-minded Christian. He is prominent in Ron Paul's movement.
Here is his most recent insightful column, inspired by the Sandy Hook massacre:
The so-called conservative talking head at MSNBC, Joe Scarborough, railed that the Connecticut shootings “must change everything.” Scarborough’s inference is that America needs stricter gun control laws. He said, “They [politicians] must . . . be forced to defend our children,” by enacting more gun control laws. Scarborough went on to rant, “I say good luck to the gun lobbyists, good luck to the Hollywood lawyer who tries to hide behind twisted readings of our Bill of Rights.”

This is the same Joe Scarborough who was elected to Congress in 1994 from the First Congressional District of Florida. He ran as a staunch pro-Second Amendment conservative. He was elected to Congress by staunch Pro-Second Amendment conservatives. Now, Scarborough is joining the chorus of the anti-gun left by adding his voice for more gun control.
At one time, Joe and I were fairly close. I hosted a prominent radio talk show in Joe’s district at the time and did everything I could do to help him win that US House seat. At one time, Joe, and several members of his family, verbalized to me that had it not been for my support, he would not have won his congressional seat. At the time, I was proud to do it.
Joe was a different guy then. That was before he suddenly resigned his seat in Congress, before he landed a gig at MSNBC, and before he became a multimillionaire. Since then, I’ve watched Joe Scarborough morph into something different altogether. I no longer know Joe Scarborough.
I remember him telling me some 15 years or so ago that he had his sights set on the White House around the 2016 election. Is that what this is all about, Joe? Are you reading the tea leaves after the Connecticut shootings, and you think you’re going to ride an anti-gun wave to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? It ain’t gonna happen, Joe!
We've Elected a Communist Gun Grabbing Dictator
I'm not a big gun guy. I wasn't raised a hunter, though my dad did give me a 22 rifle when I was young. I'm so thankful he did that.
I have been casually interested in guns, and gun rights, all my life. In recent years I've become not just interested, but inspired, by guns.
The interview above is with Larry Pratt. He leads Gun Owners of America.
They are the NRA infused with testosterone. Both groups are worth supporting. GOA is more principled and less political.
After serving professionally for over two decades in the political milieu of Maine and America, I am convinced there is not much hope in modern politics. To survive in the American political culture you MUST separate yourself from Jesus Christ. That is mandatory. There is no career anywhere in American politics if you hold that Jesus Christ is the way the truth and life, and that no man makes it to the Father except they go through Him.
The NRA is a creature of American politics. GOA ... less so. I would say they are motivated moreso by fidelity to the second amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which reads:
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
Note that this doesn't say anything about hunting. American law and policy respecting guns is not primarily about hunting. It is about the "security of a free state" and the "right of the people to keep and bear arms." This right, according to the founders of our nation "shall not be infringed."
I think it is tragic that a consequence of the Sandy Hook Massacre is the suggestion that we should either arm teachers or install security guards in the public schools.
We should do neither. We should, rather, get the government out of the education business completely, and turn the responsibility for educating children over to local communities and parents -- primarily parents. Citizens who are called to bear arms responsibly should be encouraged to do so. All citizens. They should be honored for carrying a firearm responsibly in the open -- in a holster, in a gun rack on the back window of the truck, rifle muzzle down anywhere they wish to carry.
This idea that the government is responsible to protect us is insane. There isn't enough money on the whole planet to enable the government to fulfill that responsibility. It's ridiculous. And the fact that so many Americans expect it has literally bankrupted us.
What we need more than anything else in Maine and America is a spiritual and moral revival or reformation. We will know it has started when Christian men rise up and demand change. We will know it has begun when righteous and noble men are publicly proclaiming their fidelity to Jesus Christ absent political correctness.
Sigmund Freud and Psychiatry Can't Save Us

The following column was just published by my good friend Coach Dave Daubenmire. He knows what he is talking about. He is a former public school teacher and is a successful football coach. More important, he is a minister of the Christian gospel. But even more important than that is the fact that he has responded to God's call to speak like a man to America. He is bold and truthful. You need to read his column below. Then click here and watch the embedded video.

We have traded The Gospel of Jesus Christ for the voodoo-Science of Psychotherapy. We no longer turn to Jesus for transformation; we turn to Sigmund Freud for therapy.
This was evident again following the massacre at Sandy Hook. Grief counselors. What the heck is that? How can a people-group be so damn stupid?
Professing themselves to be wise they have become fools.
Psychological therapy is the solution that we offer to those who have just had a child tragically blown away in Super-Slaughter Sandy Hook. Psycho-babble has replaced truth. We turn to mental-medicine-men to try and explain what appears to be un-explainable.
We treat cancer of the soul with psycho Alka Seltzer...plop plop, fizz fizz, oh what a relief it is…
Sigmund Freud was an atheistic-Jew. He denied the God of the Bible. He and his acolytes, including the pedophile pervert Alfred Kinsey, revolutionized the way our nation deals with abnormal behaviors. [See DVD on Alfred Kinsey]
There is a direct link, for anyone willing to investigate it, to the removal of God from the center of American life, to the works of these atheistic, Christ-hating, Jewish-“researchers.”
Making a Killing
Yesterday I watched an informative youtube. It was sent to me by my good friend, Steve Martin, with the Aroostook Watchmen.
Many years ago I tired of the drug commercials on television. They were, in fact, one of the major reasons I turned cable TV off in our house. The relentless barrage of lies about sexuality, sickness, emotions etc. depressed me. I wasn't fighting the depression they talk about relentlessly in those advertisements. I was fighting depression created by the advertisements themselves.
After watching this documentary I gained insights on why I had that reaction to those advertisements.
All of them are pure evil lies.
The youtube documents the nature of psychiatry.
The film reminded me of a speech I gave on Maine's College Campuses in 2005. You can read it here.
If Not Now, When
I realize that she will be forced to live in the world that I leave her.
That is a sobering thought. If she loses her liberty
I pray it won’t be because her Grampie was too self-absorbed and religious,
sitting silently by and doing nothing.

It's the Keith Green in me, I guess. Green wasn't afraid to rock the boat. I admired him so much that I visited his Christian community in Texas over thirty years ago. I haven't been able to completely squash that passion for the edgy that Green inspired. In the past I've tried to diminish it in order to appease Republicans, mostly. But I've also realized that women in the church demand a passionless emasculated Christianity from their men. That's why there aren't any men going to church anymore. Thank God they still choose to work outside in the freezing Maine winters maintaining our roads.
